Join in an afternoon of creativity and refreshments in Brighton's newest art gallery! You'll be able to choose a scrapbook kit from a selection of Halloween themes. (Sign up for another session, and reserve a different kit for next time.)
Sample layouts will be on display for ideas you can use, or create on your own. Instruction will include a discussion of ideas, and assistance with production techniques. Knowlege of basic scrapbook materials and procedures is helpful, but not necessary.
Bring your own basic tools for measuring, cutting (a mat if using an X-acto), pasting, and any other favorite supplies. A notebook and a camera might come in handy. Also, bring your photos and other Halloween memorabilia to scrap. No kids? Use photos of pets, decorations, nature or your own childhood costumes. Recipes, poems or journaling about your Halloween favorites make great pages, too. (Or, just create your pages and add personalized items later.)

The gallery if usually open Mon.-Sat. (approx. 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.), so please come by to check it out. Call Judee, 303-902-0131 to confirm hours. Be inspired by the art on display in the gallery, and watch local artists at work in their studios.
